History

A long and excellent track record

TENO INGENIEROS CONSULTORES, was constituted in the year 1994. Our job as specialist consultants is to shape civil engineering projects. Our track record shows not only a constant improvement in what we do, but also that we have grown and expanded our services.

We harness our experience to open up new areas of activity, which we soon master, enabling us to become specialists in each field. We started out mainly in road construction projects on the island of Tenerife. In 1999, we won some large scale public tenders that stimulated the growth of the company in both capacity and prestige. While the company was growing, on the one hand we started adopting new specialities, moving into the area of ports and hydraulic infrastructure, and on the other we expanded geographically, winning contracts outside of Tenerife.

Implementing important major projects forged a special bond with our customers in the public administrations and helped us to join ASICMA (Madrid delegation of the Spanish Association of Engineering Consultants, TECNIBERIA - ASINCE), the leading professional association of the industry in Spain.

In recent years, we have undergone a process of expansion to provide our services in the international market by presenting international bids, projects and tenders in several different countries. At the same time as the international expansion, we have also moved into the field of public transport, having won contracts for both tram and railway lines on the Island of Tenerife.
