Damaso Arteaga, councilor Head of the Department of Infrastructure, Public Works and Public Services visits Anaga works.

Damaso Arteaga checked the state of the repair works of different infrastructures damaged by the storm that battered Anaga massif in February 2010. Damaso visited different enclaves together with Mr. Fernando Ballesteros, city councilor of the Anaga district, and Gladys Leon, coordinator of the Anaga district. Technicians of the city council were also present in the visit. There were also neighbours’ representatives of the groups Isla Anaga, Amigos de Anaga and Las Nieves, as well as members of the parents’ association of Julian Rojas de Veras school, and the project management teams and other technicians from the outsourcing companies which are executing the works. Damaso Arteaga highlighted that the purpose of the visit was to “check the estate of the works and solve all the problems resulting from their execution that could affect the neighbours. We are talking about works worth around 4 million euros, the most important ones ever carried out in the area of Anaga.”
